FPL Headliner: Erling Haaland (avl)

Haaland has found the back of the net nine times over the last six Gameweeks, leading all players for shots in the box (26), 'big chances' (13), and shots on target.

Man. City have been just as impressive, scoring 13 goals in that time — more than any other side. They also rank second for both shots on target (31) and 'big chances' (22).

As shown in the Player Heatmaps feature below, Haaland has averaged 9.8 FPL points per game in away matches this season.

Points Per game for Haaland in away Matches

Their hosts, Villa, have conceded seven goals over the same period (fifth most) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Midlands side rank 12th for shots in the box conceded (66) and 11th for Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) (8.43).

According to our Predicted Points & Stats tool, Haaland is projected to score 5.5 points this Gameweek.

Top FPL Midfielder: Bruno Fernandes (BHA)

Fernandes’ assist at Anfield was his first of the season, but his underlying numbers suggest more returns could be coming.

Over the last six Gameweeks, only Longstaff (17) has created more chances than the Portuguese midfielder (16) among all midfielders — and Longstaff’s form has earned him a spot in this week’s Top 5 Differentials.

Meanwhile, as shown in the image below from our Opta Stats Sandbox, only Salah (2.87) has registered a higher xG than his 2.79 over the aforementioned period.

Expeted Goals Stats for Midfielders

Man. Utd. have scored 10 goals over the last six Gameweeks (sixth), only Arsenal (96) and Liverpool (98) have attempted more shots than their 90. The Red Devils are also ranked second for xG (14.06) with only Palace (15.79) faring better.

Their visitors Brighton have conceded eight goals over the aforementioned period (10th) and have not yet kept a clean sheet. The Seagulls are ranked 11th for shots in the box conceded (47) and 10th for xGC (8.24).

Our Predicted Points & Stats tool currently projects a score of 4.7 points for B. Fernandes.

Best Forward Pick: Nick Woltemade (FUL)

Woltemade has made an impressive start to life at Newcastle, scoring four goals in his last six Gameweeks — with only Mateta (five) and Haaland (nine) finding the net more often among forwards.

As shown in the Match Centre feature below, the German international also leads all Newcastle players over their last five league matches for goals (four), xG (3.1), and shots on target (four).

Last Five Game Player Statistics for Newcastle Fantasy Premier League 2025/26

Newcastle have scored just five goals over the last six Gameweeks (17th), however, the Magpies are ranked 11th for shots (70) and 12th for xG (6.33).

Their opponents Fulham have conceded 10 goals over the same period (15th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Cottagers are ranked ninth for shots conceded (67) and seventh for xGC (7.66).

Best Mid-Priced Midfielder: Antoine Semenyo (NFO)

Semenyo's total of 49 FPL points across the last six Gameweeks is more than any other midfielder, with Caicedo some way behind with 33.

No midfielder has landed more shots on target (seven) over the aforementioned period, while Schade (13) and Gakpo (12) are the only ones to have attempted more shots in the box than his 11.

Shots on Target Stats for Midfielders

Bournemouth have scored 11 goals over the last six Gameweeks with only Man. City (13) more prolific. The Cherries are ranked eighth for shots (75) and 10th for xG (8.33).

Their visitors Forest have conceded 13 goals over the last six Gameweeks, more than any other side and have not yet kept a clean sheet. The Nottingham side are ranked 18th for shots in the box conceded (63) and 19th for xGC (13.57).

No defender has recorded more DEFCON (Defensive Contributions) than Senesi’s 79 during that stretch.

Bournemouth have conceded seven goals in their last six matches (fifth fewest) and kept two clean sheets. The Cherries rank ninth for shots in the box conceded (45) and 12th for xGC (8.45).
